Castlewood Productions has inked a deal with Discovery Communications (USA) for the documentary ‘BIRTH OF A KIA OPTIMA’. The US cable giant will be broadcasting the program in the winter of 2012/13. Andrew Burnstein, Executive Producer of the show, says he extremely pleased that the Canadian-made offering that was commissioned by, and first aired on Discovery Channel Canada, will now be exposed to a potentially huge audience. “This is basically ‘an extreme makeover car edition’”, according to Burnstein, “that should be seen for it’s remarkable story of transformation, both in design and technology.”
