Karen has been with Castlewood since 2008, designing and managing the post production work flow of a very busy edit shop.
After graduating with honours from Humber College’s Film and Television Production Program (majoring in Post Production and Cinematography), Karen Kerr went on to pursue a career in video editing creating various programs for TV Ontario and Global Television. After years in the editing biz, Karen moved onto Production Coordination working on a Children’s TV series called Ace Lightning for the BBC/Alliance Atlantis.
Following this, she continued to hone in on her skills by working in the Graphic Design industry and then eventually moved back into Post Production by working as a Post Coordinator on such shows as Wedding SOS(Slice Network), Mayday (Discovery Network) and Property Virgins (HGTV). Karen also enjoys riding her “vintage” bicycle to scope out the latest in the indie music scene as well as finding the best restaurants in downtown Toronto.
