David began at Castlewood as a production coordinator. We quickly recognized his creative skills and have used his talents for virtually every aspect of production and post production. Now in his third year with the company David is a most valuable piece of the Castlewood pie.
David came to Castlewood with a diverse background in lifestyle, comedy and dramatic television. Getting his start in new media production through the CFTPA CTV Cross Platform Internship, David went on to work in multiplatform property development for Heroic Film Company (producer of CBC’s Our Hero; YTV’s Captain Flamingo), before making the move to television production. Free-lancing as both a production coordinator and assistant director, David worked on a variety of projects for networks such as YTV, HGTV, Slice, The Comedy Network, and Fox Television before joining Castlewood for their inaugural production of Cash Cab Canada.
When he’s not working, David spends much of his free time… working, moonlighting as a producer and assistant director on independent feature and short film projects as his schedule/body allows.
