Castlewood Productions was recognized for Best Picture Editing in an Information Program or Series. This evening at the 26th annual Gemini Awards in Toronto editors Clark Masters and Richard Rotter received the awards for their work on Castlewood’s BEST. TRIP. EVER., the adventure reality show featuring Gold Medalist Jon Montgomery. Castlewood received four Gemini Award nominations in 2011 adding to the multiple nominations over the previous two years.
Andrew Burnstein, Castlewood’s President and Executive Producer was elated but not surprised by the award saying, “Congratulations to Richard and Clark, and to the entire talented production team. It was fantastic that the Academy members saw just how great the show is and was able to honor it with a Gemini award. Many thanks go out to Discovery Channel Canada, its programming a marketing departments who supported the show fully”.
Castlewood’s DESIGN DNA series for HGTV was also recognized with three Gemini nominations.
